This little gray bird is common in eastern deciduous forests and is a frequent visitor to feeders. Their large black eyes, and bushy crest gives these gregarious birds a distinctive appearance. They adore black sunflower seeds, often carrying them to a perch to crack it open with sharp whacks of its stout bill.
