A frequent visitor to bird feeders, the Carolina Chickadee is a charming, intelligent and social little friend. The black cap and bib contrast with gray wings and sides making it easy to identify in the Southern US. The nearly indentical Black-capped Chickadee lives mostly in the Northern US.
